Surprising our mother with anything can be truthfully difficult.
I don’t assume what it is, although she often has this intuition that the people I was with and I are going to do something for her, and she is also incredibly great at guessing what it is, even if I had talked about what our plans were.
This can be incredibly discouraging sometimes, because it takes away the element of surprise. So I decided to surprise her with something I knew she would never guess. I remembered sometime back she told myself and others about how she was unsatisfied with her current temperature control. This gave myself and others the method of the smart temperature control, but since her anniversary was months away, I wasn’t sure if she would still be interested in a new temperature control by then. So, when her anniversary was only a week away, I nonchalantly brought up our own temperature control, to see what she would respond with. She complained about her current temperature control, and how it had started to malfunction, and how she was planning on calling a Heating, Ventilation and A/C specialist out to repair. Now that I knew that she was still interested, I had to act fast. I bought the smart temperature control from the Heating, Ventilation and A/C business website and had it shipped the same day. When it arrived, I proudly presented it to her and finally, she was surprised. I am glad I was finally able to surprise her, and just in the nick of time too, because she already had an appointment with the worker tomorrow. Now all she has to do is get the new temperature control installed!
