When our partner plus I decided to add a modern addition to our home, I truthfully was expecting to expand the HVAC duct so that our Heating and A/C system would supply heating plus cooling to the modern space.
My partner advised me to reconsider that because she wasn’t certain that our Heating and A/C system would even be able to handle it.
When she said that, I rapidly wasn’t so sure about what we would do. So I ended up consulting with an Heating and A/C expert who said we would have to add a modern Heating and A/C install to the addition. He recommended going with a ductless mini chop system which we could have up to 5 zones for plus the system would supply customized temperature control comfort in the different areas of the modern addition. Well, that ductless mini chop install entirely did the trick. I entirely find myself wanting to hang out in the addition more often where we have a couple of different rooms. The customized temperature control comfort is amazing plus we also have a fireplace in there as well for the chilly Winter time months. Honestly though, you can entirely supply enough cooling for the whole Winter time with just the ductless mini split. The system provides plenty of heating down to disadvantage 5 degrees fahrenheit. It doesn’t even get below the teens in our section for the most part. Even if it did become too chilly for the ductless mini chop to run though, we have the fireplace to keep us nice plus toasty in the addition no matter how chilly it becomes outside.
