The two of us just moved into a new place a few weeks ago and we are going to have to do something about the way the air vent covers look! They are so old and beaten up that it makes the rest of the home look bad, I don’t know what it is about the air vent covers and the air return covers that give the home such a bad look, but if you have new carpet, tile, or laminate flooring along with old air vent covers, the home still ends up looking terrible. I personally think that whenever you put in new flooring of any kind or if you do ceiling work or fresh painting, you should also go ahead and upgrade your air vents covers on the floor and in the ceilings. If you don’t, it’s almost like all of your other work has been done in vain, when the air vents look all beaten up and crusty, the rest of the work that you did kind of goes out the window and that is what people focus on whenever they are looking at the stuff inside of your home, and at least, that is the experience that I have had, but maybe I’m just weird. I don’t want to waste our time working on our home and then have yucky old air vent covers messing up the aesthetic of our home! That’s why I’m going to the local home improvement store today to pick out some new air vent covers for our bedroom and the living room. The rest of the home looks pretty nice already, but the air vent covers are pretty ugly. Once I get those taken care of, I’m hoping that the place will start to feel a lot more like home!
