I want to get rid of my HVAC system, but I don’t think I can.
This wish isn’t because I want to go off the grid.
Some people shed their technology because they want to survive without electricity; they abandon their HVAC units. I do not plan to live without electricity any time soon, and I do not want to get rid of my heating and cooling system. I guess that I would be very irritated without my central cooling system in the summer, and I wouldn’t survive without my oil furnace in the winter. Why do I feel this way? I’m frustrated with my HVAC system right now. It’s been costing me a lot of money lately, and I don’t know if I can afford to keep fixing it all the time. HVAC contractors charge a lot of money for repairs. I can’t afford to keep paying these high prices! I have an older oil furnace and central cooling system; they are going to be updated in the next few years. However, I cannot afford to update my oil furnace or my central cooling system now, so I am stuck with my HVAC unit. I have to keep them working until I can save up enough to update my heating and cooling system. Unfortunately, I have been spending so much money on its repairs that I haven’t been able to save up much. This is totally ridiculous.
