Heat from gas furnace rises directly up to the ceiling

The winters in our local area are actually long plus super cold.

With hot plus cold temperatures below cold plus feet of snow on the ground, we are trapped inside the home for more than half the year.

The cost of running the gas furnace is a pressing drain on the household budget. I take the opportunity to thoroughly wipe the home while in the winter. The heating method was absolutely running longer than necessary plus using more energy. The added wear plus tear could shorten service life plus increase the risk of malfunctions. I did some research plus found that ceiling fans are suggested for improving efficiency. The ceiling fans should be set to turn counterclockwise in the Summer to create a downdraft plus a cooling breeze. In the winter, switching the fan direction to clockwise creates an updraft plus distributes sizzling air around the room. There are a wide variety of sizes, styles plus price ranges for ceiling fans. My partner plus I were able to install the fans ourselves. They have made a noticeable improvement in comfort.
