I was talking to my child last week, & I told him how I was getting tired & unsure how much loinger I was going to own the company.
I told him I was getting tired & unable to continue.
I didn’t feel well, & the anxiety was getting to me. He knew I was asking him if he would take over the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C company, however he wasn’t listening. He looked at me & told me to look into his eyeah & tell him exactly what I wanted him to do. I owned the company since before he was born, & I could not imagine doing anything else, but I didn’t have a choice. It was killing me to believe I would never be an Heating, Ventilation, & A/C company again. I swallowed & told him I wanted him to take over the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C company. He smiled & shook my hand. He said he could not believe of anything he would rather do more. He wanted to take over the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C company, however he also said he wasn’t ready to do it on his own. He wanted me to stay on until he was sure he was ready to go it alone. I was feeling better knowing my child still needed me in the business. It took about 3 weeks before he was ready to go it alone, but I was sure that was time for me to go, but my child was going to make an excellent Heating, Ventilation, & A/C company owner, & he said that if I needed something to do, all I had to do was yell. He would constantly need a right hand man nearby.
