I was afraid they would ask myself and others to work when I was already on a task, my partner thought about what I said, & she agreed with me.
Our church was looking for an Heating, Ventilation, & A/C specialist to keep on retainer for all their Heating, Ventilation, & A/C needs. I didn’t guess if I wanted to let them guess I was an Heating, Ventilation, & A/C specialist. I worried that if I told them I was an Heating, Ventilation, & A/C specialist, I would be obligated to work on their Heating, Ventilation, & A/C equipment, even if I was on another Heating, Ventilation, & A/C task for the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C company I worked for. I hoped our partner didn’t say anything to them, but I should have known better, and when both of us got out of church, she asked myself and others if I had considered working for the church. I asked her not to say anything because I didn’t want to be held hophase by the church; They may get worried if they needed an Heating, Ventilation, & A/C specialist & I didn’t show up instantaneously, however she asked if they may be thinking about paying a full-time wage & I could work exclusively for them. I reminded her how often the church was begging the congregation to supply until it hurts because they had so several people to help. I was afraid they would ask myself and others to work when I was already on a task, my partner thought about what I said, & she agreed with me. I only hoped our parents didn’t say something to the minister. The following week, I got the answer to whether they had said something. The minister approached myself and others & asked why I didn’t volunteer that I was an Heating, Ventilation, & A/C specialist. I told him I worked for an Heating, Ventilation, & A/C company & I could not afford to do outside work, because it would be a conflict of interest.
