I’m writing a story about an HVAC technician, and I think it’s going to be great. It’s actually an autobiography about my grandpa, who used to work as an HVAC technician. Whenever he was a young man, he said that he used to try to learn everything that he could about heating, cooling, and ventilation systems. He became a bit of an expert about it and then he went on to own his very own HVAC company when he was a young man. He was one of the only guys in his small town who knew anything at all about heating and cooling systems. Back then, not many people had air conditioning systems in their homes and so the fact that he knew how to repair them and work on them was a big deal. My grandpa has some crazy stories about back when he was young. He likes to talk about all of the weird customers that he used to have and the strange homes that he had to go into sometimes. I know that he likes to embellish certain things but most of what he says is true. I told my grandpa to give me all of his craziest stories so that I could write everything down for posterity. My grandpa still works on heating and cooling systems to this day and he knows more about furnaces and air conditioning units than anyone else out there today. I am excited to get the book finished and I know that my grandpa is going to love reading it once I get it all done.
