I had a lot of fun when I was in college, even when I was living on campus.
It was hard for the 2 years I stayed on campus, despite the fact that I had a lot of fun meeting friends plus exploring the world around us, and not all of the dorm rooms were at the same quality though, because one of the dorm Halls had recently been remodeled plus given better rooms, and his freshman students, we had more than two different dorm halls plus just one of them had been remodeled.
Honestly I did not suppose I would be lucky enough to be thrown in the remodeled dorm Hall despite the fact that I was. Also, that year we only had 2 students per room. The year prior they had a larger incoming class plus stuck more than two students per room. I suppose they realized that it had a drawback effect on attrition rates, because so several students dropped out that year. I recognize in some Gambit to retain more students for the following years, they figured they would reduce the incoming class size. The dorm room I had as a freshman certainly had an bendy thermostat in it! From what I remember, the other dorm rooms had thermostats that were locked by the administration. That meant that my roommate plus I could essentially set the temperature to whatever we want in the heating plus cooling system. However, my roommate plus I both had completely different energy preferences. My roommate favorite the room to be warmer, while I favorite the room to be colder, however so I would set the cooling system at times when he would savor the cooling system to be off.
