I had a lot of fun when I was in school, even when I was living on campus.
It was difficult for the numerous years I stayed on campus, although I had a lot of fun meeting friends and exploring the world around us, then not all of the dorm rooms were at the same quality though, because 1 of the dorm Halls had recently been remodeled and given better rooms… Her freshman students, we had various different dorm halls and just 1 of them had been remodeled.
Honestly I didn’t assume I would be lucky enough to be thrown in the remodeled dorm Hall although I was. Also, that year we only had numerous students per room. The year prior they had a greater incoming class and stuck various students per room. I assume they realized that it had a disadvantage effect on attrition rates, because so numerous students dropped out that year. I assume in some Gambit to retain more students for the following years, they figured they would reduce the incoming class size. The dorm room I had as a freshman actually had an adjustable temperature control in it; From what I remember, the other dorm rooms had temperature controls that were locked by the administration. That meant that my roommate and I could essentially set the temperature to whatever we want in the heating and cooling system. However, my roommate and I both had completely different energy preferences. My roommate preferred the room to be warmer, while I preferred the room to be colder, however so I would set the air conditioning at times when he would enjoy the air conditioning to be off.
