Adding some A/C to our space

I’m not sure that I would call this a sunroom exactly.

It was put on by a sunroom company but it doesn’t look like a correct sunroom.

In fact, it looks so much better than a sunroom tacked on to the back of the house. And unlike most sunrooms that I’ve been inside, this space comes with it’s own heating & cooling equipment. That’s right, I’m so cheerful to have this space & even more gleeful that there will be plenty of quality heating & air out there. The thing is, this sunroom was added to the side of our home & is really sort of an extension of the house. That’s why it’s still hard for me to term this a sunroom. However, I feel it is because there are lucite panels at the end that open up to all this light. And is a whole wall running the width of the home that is now glass & sliding glass doors. It’s like the home has been transformed into some sort of garden room or something. We had this done last Fall & are really triumphant with the way it turned out, for sure, it’s as though my buddy and I opened up our home & added nearly half again as much square footage. I enjoyed it from the easily first. But I was also sort of interested to see how the pair of ductless heat pumps would do this Winter. We have a mostly mild winter so the heat pump is plenty for heating the main house. And I’m super triumphant to report that the up-to-date ductless heat pumps did a good task with heating all Winter. Now, the true test comes as the A/C season is right around the corner.
