I’m not going through what we went through last year, and that’s not at all what I’m interested in one bit.
In our house, we are consistently so eager to have the winter time weather behind us; And that makes sense given how frigid it gets up here.
The central air conditioner in our loft consists of both a gas boiler plus a heat pump. It’s that sort of winter time frigid that we deal with, but as frigid as it gets plus as thankful as I am for the great heating comfort, it’s not all about the gas boiler! Not by a longshot, however still, we get so excited when the Springtime gets here that I have sort of forgotten the air conditioner service, my friend and I do our best to get heating service in the Fall followed by an air conditioner tune up in the Springtime. Again, I’m consistently on top of the heating service however have been a bit hit plus miss when it comes to the air conditioner tune up. And last year, I learned the strenuous way that an air conditioner tune up is just as pressing as the heating service. My friend and I have a short Springtime that is absolutely just an early Summer. So I reached for the control equipment to flip from heating to cooling thinking that would be that; Well, I thought the air conditioner sounded odd plus that proved to be correct. The heat pump ran for an hour or so even though there wasn’t that much demand for cooling. Then, it made a hideous noise plus shut down. After that was fixed by the Heating plus Air Conditioning professionals, to the tune of a few hundred bucks, I’m getting the air conditioner tune up done. I’m just not going to have a repeat of last year’s initial introduction to air conditioner.
