I have keys to my boss’s office, because every Wednesday morning I have to go to the shop early… I have never gone to the shop early on any other morning or access to the office separate from permission but I decided to sneak into the office on Sunday so I could see my biweekly review early! We were all supposed to get the results from our biweekly review on Wednesday and I did not want to wait so I snuck into the office Sunday morning. When I got to the office, the first thing that I noticed was the fact that the heating and a/c unit was off. It was entirely hot inside of the building and it seemed like the a/c unit should have been running. I wasn’t trying to feel about the a/c unit, but I was looking through the files and I could feel myself starting to sweat… The sunlight was starting to come up and it was already entirely humid inside of the building. I took a picture of my biweekly review and then I went to the hall office to look at the temperature control. It was 84° inside of the building and clearly there were concerns with the a/c unit. I wish that I could have said something about the concerns earlier than I did, but if I would have told my boss that the a/c unit wasn’t laboring, he would have known that I went to the office early for some reason. I know he would have figured out that I looked at my review early.
