I never gave much thought to the fact that my partner’s home required constant use of air conditioning when we first met online a few years ago. She formerly resided in a region of the nation that gets very hot. As a result of our excellent insulation and high-efficiency heat pump, my friend and I don’t have to spend a fortune on heating the house during the winter. Although I am aware that she is just missing the southern island where she used to live, my partner claims that it is the worst place on earth to live. I wouldn’t mind living there, but if that were the case, my friend and I would end up spending a lot of money on air conditioning instead of heating.
