Unfortunately, most of the dresses were heavy and I was sweating too much
My boyfriend proposed to me a couple of months ago and I have been trying to find the right dress for the wedding. Everything is happening very quickly and I don’t want to get stuck with a dress that I don’t like. I got a chance to go to a bridal shop nearby that is usually very expensive. They were having a special clearance on all of the dresses from last year. The bridal shop was going to be open to the public, but you still had to make an appointment. I got an appointment for 9:00 a.m. on Saturday morning. When I showed up with my sister, the doors to the bridal shop were open. I didn’t think that was a good sign. I walked inside and the owner was standing at the desk. She told us that the air conditioner was broken. She didn’t know when they were going to be able to fix the air conditioner problem, but she already called someone from the repair business. She told me that I could still try on dresses, but there was nothing that she could do about the indoor air temperatures except get a fan. I still wanted to look at dresses, so my sister and I did our best. Unfortunately, most of the dresses were heavy and I was sweating too much. It was way too hot to try on dresses without any air conditioning in the building. The owner was very kind and gracious and let us move our appointment to a day during the week when the air conditioner would definitely be working.
