We put a propane heating system in our guest house back over the summer.
It was something that we had been thinking about doing for quite a while. We have this little guest house that is mostly just used during the summer. We have a lot of guests out here where we live during the summertime, so we have never really had a need for a furnace out there before. Up until the past fall, we have never had anyone want to come and stay when it’s not the middle of the summer. We never really thought that we were in need of a heating system out there, but it turns out that we were wrong. My niece and her friends really wanted to come out and stay for a week during their fall break from school, but we did not have a heating system in the guest house at that point and so we told her that we couldn’t do it. I actually felt really bad about it because whenever we built the guesthouse, we swore to ourselves that we would never turn people down who wanted to come out to stay and visit with us. It’s been a really great thing for our family to have so that we can have people come over to visit. We love having people over. Anyway, after we had to turn her and her friends down for staying in the fall because of the cold temperatures, we decided that we were going to put a propane heating system out there. I’m excited to have people use it this winter.
