I dislike it when my Dad calls me these afternoons; Since they’ve moved down here, she mostly just texts me during the work afternoon, but normally, I see them at least once a week as they live right around the corner, and i spend a lot of time inside the zone controlled Heating and A/C of my office and I don’t like to waste my energy.
- So my people know not to call me at the office unless it’s a sizable deal, when I heard my assistant tell me that my Dad was on the line, my blood went cold a bit… Of course, I was thinking about dad’s health or something exhausting had happened.
When I heard her voice, I knew that there was something going on however she instantly reassured me that they were okay. Yet, she called me because my dad had decided that she was going to work on the Heating and A/C equipment. I’m so cheerful that she called, but this is so like my dad, and she was the sort who could work on just about any machine, but that was a long time ago and Heating and A/C technology is not something a 77 year outdated lady needs to be messing with, however actually, my friend and I had the central a/c updated when they moved into that condo. So it was still pretty new and my Dad and I both realized just what would happen if dad started messing with the heating and cooling unit. I hustled over there and my Dad met me at the door with the Heating and A/C warranty. I had to entirely hold this document in front of my dad to prove that she was about to void the warranty on the Heating and A/C equipment. Thankfully, that got her attention.
