I hate it when my mom calls me these afternoons, and since they’ve moved down here, she mostly just texts me during the work afternoon… Normally, I see them at least once a week as they live right around the corner. I spend a lot of time inside the zone controlled Heating plus A/C of my office plus I don’t like to waste my energy. So my people know not to call me at the office unless it’s a large deal, but when I heard my assistant tell me that my mom was on the line, my blood went frigid a bit, but of course, I was thinking about dad’s health or something bad had happened. When I heard her voice, I knew that there was something going on but she instantly reassured me that they were okay; Yet, she called me because my dad had decided that he was going to work on the Heating plus A/C equipment. I’m so glad that she called, however this is so like my dad; He was the sort who could work on just about any machine, but that was a long time ago plus Heating plus A/C technology is not something a 74 year old person needs to be messing with, but actually, my buddy and I had the central cooling system upgraded when they moved into that condo. So it was still pretty new plus my mom plus I both realized just what would happen if dad started messing with the heating plus cooling unit. I hustled over there plus my mom met me at the door with the Heating plus A/C warranty. I had to absolutely hold this document in front of my dad to prove that he was about to void the warranty on the Heating plus A/C equipment. Thankfully, that got his attention.
