Home decor: Transforming a 1949s home with an aesthetically pleasing HVAC installation

I love old homes. Mainly just restoring them to something close to their original state, but you can’t do that with heating equipment. Most homes have old furnace installations that cannot undergo heating repair, so they must be replaced. The ones with a fire alcove installed are restorable to their original state, but in most cases, the homeowner wants the entire heating device upgraded to something more modern. The last client we had who wanted an HVAC installation upgrade wanted a standing fireplace in the middle of the living room. They already had the old type with a chimney placed in a central part of the floor, but they were no longer interested in using it. The equipment would have to be an electric heater for the aesthetic they were hoping to achieve. We contract the local heating company for all projects involving heating, who then sends their heating specialist to help us with installations. All the equipment is also bought at the same heating dealership, so we are always assured about quality. My clients had an image of what they wanted to achieve with the space and a request for a smart thermostat, making it a full modern upgrade. It would be lovely because their living area was huge enough to accommodate such a strong piece of equipment. The HVAC professional team worked together to remove the old fire installation and started working on connecting the gas that would fit the new heating unit. We painted the house a deep red color, and the contrast with the heater made it more aesthetically pleasing. The heating technician commented that since the unit was centered, heating maintenance would be manageable, and my work there was done.
