I'm a huge fan of the fudge store when they have a working air conditioner

I mentioned to him about the AC and he claimed he was going to get it fixed soon

It seems like a lot of the businesses in my town are in disrepair. A lot of these places have been around for decades and I think they were all hit pretty heavily in the 2008 financial recession. Because in the years since nothing has really come back and rebounded to the success that they experienced prior. It’s kind of tragic to be completely honest. Since I’m an older millennial I remember how a lot of these businesses were in the early 2000s and late ’90s. It feels like the country was really bustling back then and then everything changed beginning with the 9/11 attacks and then culminating in the 2009 financial recession. However there have been a few businesses that have persisted in the area with continued success. One of those businesses is the fudge store downtown. A lot of people go down there to get coffee even if they’re not buying the fudge. The owner is smart about offering lots of different things for different types of people. However his air conditioning system really needs to be replaced. The last few times I’ve gone in there the fudge was melting on the plate as he gave it to me. I mentioned to him about the AC and he claimed he was going to get it fixed soon. Hopefully by the next time I visit the fudge store the air conditioning system will be replaced. I don’t want to buy a package of fudge that’s already starting to melt because the air conditioner wasn’t working. It would be nice if he got the air conditioner replaced by next week.
