My aunt absolutely hates the hospital because of the food and also the temperature conditions.
When we went to visit her last week she was complaining about how awful it was at night because she was so cold.
She told us that she pushed the help button and they gave her a blanket but the blanket wasn’t enough to keep her warm. She also said that she woke up again in the middle of the night trying to find a thermostat. After almost five minutes of searching for the thermostat she said that she finally found the thermostat on the other side of the room. She was so excited and changed the temperature by pushing the arrows up on the thermostat so the furnace would kick on. She also said that she mentioned to the nurses that the temperature conditions need to be more ideal and the thermostat should be set for what the patient feels the best comfortable in, and not set for no patients in the room. My aunt can be a little up tight at times, especially when it comes to feeling comfortable in a room or in a home. She has a smart wi-fi thermostat installed in her home so she can immediately adjust it before she walks into her home. To her living in comfortable and ideal temperatures she believes allows her to keep from getting sick every winter from the common cold. I dare not say that getting the flu shot every year also may help her in not getting sick. However when it comes to her heating and cooling system and the thermostat, no matter where she is she expects it to be working and up to her standards.
