A dog's life

My husband often says that if he dies he wants to come back as one of my pets.

This may sound like a terrible thing to say but he has a point.

My animals, no matter what type, are very spoiled. I talk to them like they are humans and always make sure they have everything they need. When it came time to build an out building for the newest additions to the family I wanted to make sure they would be comfortable throughout the year. I am certain I have the only barn in the area with climate control. You see, the new additions are two new puppies. I fully believe that my dogs are members of the family but during the day, while we are at work for many long hours, they need to stay out in the barn. They have full access to the outside pen through the dog doors but when it is too hot or too cold they hang out inside for the most part. They have comfortable beds, food and water, along with a ton of toys. I wanted them to have proper ventilation and heat as well. We sectioned off a part of the barn and installed an air purification unit along with a portable electric heater. We made sure there was properly insulated and sealed off any leaks. The room is comfortable enough to allow the dogs to stay out there without worrying about them while we are away. I can still recall the look on the HVAC dealers face when I said that the units were for the barn. It was priceless.
