Exoctic Locations weren’t what they were advertised

I love watching shows about people buying beach homes.

They are usually in some exoctic location that I can only dream of living in.

The thought of waking up each day, smelling the salt air, and strolling on the beach is a dream of mine for sure. I see many of the locations also have rental properties where you can stay for a week or two. That would even be wonderful in my opinion. When a coworker told me that they were actually going to be travelling to one of these type of places, I have to admit, I was envious. But, when they returned and told me about all the issues they had with the rental property, that feeling went away. They told me that they had booked the rental property online and many of the amenities they advertised were either non-existent or far less than what they should have been. The biggest disappointment had been the HVAC system. The online listing stated that it had air conditioning, it failed to mention that is ONLY had a small window unit that barely worked. I guess they weren’t lying, but, they weren’t exactly honest either. My coworker said that they had to sleep on the couches in the living room because that was the coolest room in the whole house. I vision of travelling to one of these places started to fade as I listened to their stories of false advertising and misleading comments. They made sure to write a review so that others would be able to avoid the lack of HVAC like they had to endure during their vacation.
