I love seeing shows about people buying beach homes. They are usually in some exoctic location that I can only dream of residing in. The thought of waking up each day, odoring the salt air, plus roaming on the beach is a dream of mine for sure. I see many of the locations also have rental properties where you can stay for a week or two. That would even be lovely in my opinion. When a coworker told me that they were truly going to be travelling to one of these type of venues, I have to admit, I was envious. But, when they returned plus told me about all the complications they had with the rental property, that feeling went away. They told me that they had booked the rental house online plus many of the amenities they featured were either non-existent or far less than what they should have been. The greatest disappointment had been the Heating as well as Air Conditioning system. The online listing stated that it had a/c, it failed to mention that is ONLY had a small window component that barely worked. I know they weren’t lying, but, they weren’t exactly tolerable either. My coworker said that they had to sleep on the couches in the residing room because that was the coolest room in the whole house. I vision of travelling to one of these venues started to fade as I listened to their stories of false advertising plus misleading comments. They made sure to write a review so that others would be able to avoid the lack of Heating as well as Air Conditioning like they had to endure during their vacation.
