Ok, going on holiday is supposed to be relaxing, right? Well, let me tell you our families trip this year was anything however that.
It started out normal, my associate and I packed the car, piled in, and headed out for a three hour drive to the mountains. There is a beautiful lakeside cabin that my associate and I rent each year and the youngsters just enjoy it up there. About an hour into the trip the car’s air conditioning provided out and my associate and I spent the next two hours driving in 90 degree heat with the windows down. The breeze did little to help and my associate and I even ended up pulling over because a bee flew in the window. It was awful! When my associate and I arrived, our bad luck continued. The owner of the cabin had forgotten to leave the key and my associate and I had to sit outside waiting for him to arrive. She also told us that she had to put in a window air conditioning as the wall one died last summer. I was over this holiday before is started. Try as my associate and I might, the week was absolutely torture. I just wanted to go back home. Then I remembered that the A/C in the automobile wasn’t working either. I asked around and found a mechanic in neighborhood that would be able to look at the automobile and hoped that she could repair it. No such luck. When the week was over and my associate and I finally arrived back home, I just wanted to sit in the cool a/c and relax. I felt like my associate and I had been robbed of our holiday and even called my office to tell them that I needed a couple of days off the next week also. At least I could hide away in cool comfort in our own home. Best part of the holiday for sure.
