Long car rides are uncomfortable

I don’t know if there’s anyone on earth who takes more long road trips than we do. I’m sure there’s a blogger or adventurist out there anywhere who tops our annual road mileage, but I think that we are above average when it comes to long weekend trips. It seems like every weekend or two we load up the car, pack a bunch of snacks, as well as hit the road for the next 8-10 hours. I’ve gotten used to these long car rides for the most part as well as they don’t easily bum me out, but there is one area that continually bothers me, and the car thermostat can never be set at the ideal temperature conditions for almost everyone in the vehicle. I swear, every time I’m too hot, my woman is too cold! Every time he’s too hot, I’m too cold. My fine friend and I go back as well as forth fiddling with the temperature setting as well as fan speed for the entire trip. Every time someone touches the air temperature controls, there’s an audible moan throughout the vehicle. Imminently, this air condition adjustment is easily deleterious to the other party. I think part of the concern is contending with the pounding sun, which distinctly boils whomever is resting in direct sunlight. The other issue is how drastic the air conditioning feels when it flows from the air vents, and both of these conditions put together guarantee that no one will ever be satisfactoryly comfortable when we’re road warriors. Unless we can find a way to individually heat as well as cool sections of the mini van, I don’t think we’ll ever beat the thermostat.
