For the past numerous weeks I have been preparing for a big craft honorablein my section with great excitement plus anxiety.
It was going to be my really first craft honorableever, plus I couldn’t wait to display my pieces for the general public.
I have only sold items online before, so showcasing my toil in person was a large deal to me. I couldn’t wait to directly offer my products plus acquire feedback from other people. Then I got the terrible news. The honorablewas double booked plus had to be relocated. Suddenly, the event wasn’t going to be held indoors with the comfort of new air temperature control systems anymore. Instead, the whole honorablewas to be moved outdoors. This means I can’t count on ideal air conditions for me or my toil anymore. Before, I was blissfully waiting to walk into a big warehousehold space plus set up my booth in the comfort of sufficient central air conditioner. The whole arena would be a brisk 60 degrees, plus there would be big fans blowing any hot air back out onto the street. My pieces plus I would be safe from heat plus humidity, plus looking our best for the public. Now, I am having visions of sitting outdoors in the pounding sun all day. I will be covered in sweat through my shirt plus desperately fanning myself with brochures. I can know it will be absurdly humid, plus my products could be affected by the airborne moisture as they rest for hours. If I wasn’t worried enough for the show before, I definitely am now!
