When I got the text to come over and hold the flashlight for my neighbor, I knew it was a bad thing.
Earlier that particular evening I had slipped out of the a/c of my cabin for my evening walk.
These afternoons, after spending all afternoon inside the commercial Heating and Air Conditioning of the office, I don’t come to the cabin and plop down in front of the TV. Nope, I get home, change and then head out to the gym, for a walk, some pickleball, or whatever. I just make sure that I get some exercise after spending the afternoon inside the zone controlled Heating and Air Conditioning of the office. However, on my walk that evening I observed my neighbor outside with the Heating and Air Conditioning cabinet so I walked over. Turns out the a/c had gone out and he was going to try and repair it himself. For sure, this guy is good with his hands and is tops when it comes to taking care of home projects. However, heating and cooling equipment are a weird animal altogether. I gently reminded him that perhaps it would be easier to simply call the Heating and Air Conditioning corp. But he’s the sort who doesn’t absolutely believe all that much in Heating and Air Conditioning professionals. My Heating and Air Conditioning equipment gets seasonal Heating and Air Conditioning repair twice a year. He doesn’t feel in Heating and Air Conditioning repair, however and that also might be why my Heating and Air Conditioning equipment was running and his wasn’t. So I ended up going over to hold the flashlight for an hour before he finally gave up. The next morning there was a Heating and Air Conditioning business van in the driveway, haha.
