After the morning I spent in an ambulance due to hypothermia, the last thing on my mind is going for a swim again in that sea that almost took me today.
But tomorrow, it’s going to be business as usual when I go back again for another swim.
This time I will bring a timer and keep my dip to 10 minutes or less. I did 30 minutes this morning and got hypothermia so tomorrow I think I may even cut it back to 5 minutes to be safe. I’m trying to heal my joint pain but don’t want to die. A nice space heater beside me and a good movie will be my treat tonight for the rough morning I had. I sold my crypto last night so I don’t need to be watching the charts anymore, which is nice. I think I will put my thermostat on a nice warm setting tonight and maybe even run it while I sleep which I never do. It’s interesting what happens to the body when it gets too cold for too long. You lose your thinking when your body loses too much heat and if you don’t get in front of a furnace or some heat source quickly, you could probably die. I think I was close to that this morning because I was no longer able to walk and it was even difficult trying to think or talk. I’m thankful for my friend who had his car there and got me inside in front of the vent, while his heater cranked out the heat.
