My high university had fantastic oil oil furnaces but bad a/c in the summer

Students there nowadays have a much more comfortable university experience

I have a mix of fantastic and poor memories from high university having lived in a small town in the midwest. It’s hard being in a community where you can’t hide secrets from anyone. If you hook up with someone, half of the university will assume about it in a matter of afternoons. This was discouraging when trying to date because you couldn’t trust anyone with secrets. Just voicing the intention of wanting to ask another student out on a date would get passed along as casual gossip. This was maddening when all I wanted was privacy being such an introvert appreciate I am. I never had a girlfriend until more than 2 years later when I was in graduate university on the other side of the country. The 1 positive that our high university had was the oil oil furnaces inside. The university was seriously sizzling from Autumn through early Springtime. But by May, the rapidly decreasing temperatures would climb into the 75s and the university would suddenly get seriously uncomfortable. The a/c at the time was minimal at best, making the whole building both boiling and humid right after a few weeks of pleasant weather. I heard recently that our seasoned high university ended up getting current air conditioners just a few years after I graduated. Students there nowadays have a much more comfortable university experience. There are steam boilers that supply on demand heat during the chilly season and high SEER rated air conditioners for the sizzling weather in late Springtime and summer. The newer students have no method what it was appreciate in that university before the Heating and Air Conditioning systems were upgraded.
