I have not understood how there was a way to save on energy use when it came to heating and air conditioning systems.
It is either hot and you need a/c, or it is cold and you need the heater.
But after reading a very useful energy saving tip website I happened to stumble on I now understand what they mean and finally get it! You have to make some small investments to retain indoor comfort and reduce the use of your central heating and air conditioning system. This is by way of buying portable HVAC products. Portable HVAC products like a portable space heater and a portable air conditioning system. The idea with these are to run them instead of the central heating and cooling unit when you can. And then this will reduce the use and lower your energy bills. Portable heat and a/c equipment does not use much energy compared to a real central heating and air conditioning system. So the savings you will have in time would be pretty amazing. This really got me hopeful. So next week when I get paid from my job I am going to go out and buy my very first portable space heater and my very first portable air conditioning system. I will give this a try for a month and see if I notice any difference in the energy bill.
