Needless to say I got my heat and a/c certification and passed the final test with flying colors! This all happened over 30 years ago now
When I was in high school and before I always hated going to school. I felt as if it was some slave labor camp to tell you the truth. But when I graduated high school I could not have been happier. I did not have any interest on going to college. That would have been more school and for what? 90 percent of the time you can never get a job doing what you worked so hard to get your degree in. But what I had in mind was something a lot different. I wanted to become a certified heat and a/c specialist and go to night classes at an HVAC school to get my certification! Now this is a school situation I love. Because it is only about the subject at hand (becoming a heating and air conditioning specialist). There is no nonsense like you have with regular college having to do the same classes from high school that have nothing to do with what you are going after. Needless to say I got my heat and a/c certification and passed the final test with flying colors! This all happened over 30 years ago now. Today I am still going strong in the heating and air conditioning business and even own my very own heat and a/c company as an independent heating and cooling contractor. Life and business have never seen better times than now! If you want to be a heating and cooling specialist, by all means go for it. It is a rewarding career believe me!
