When I was in high college and before I always hated going to college; I felt as if it was some slave work camp to tell you the truth. But when I graduated high college I could not have been happier. I did not have any interest on going to college, and that would have been more college and for what? 90 percent of the time you can never get a job doing what you worked so difficult to get your degree in. But what I had in mind was something a lot different. I wanted to become a certified heat and air conditioner specialist and go to evening classes at an Heating and Air Conditioning college to get our certification! Now this is a college situation I love. Because it is only about the subject at hand (becoming a heating and air conditioner specialist). There is no nonsense love you have with regular college having to do the same classes from high college that have nothing to do with what you are going after… Needless to say I got our heat and air conditioner certification and passed the final test with flying colors! This all happened over 30 years ago now. Today I am still going strong in the heating and air conditioner business and even own our unquestionably own heat and air conditioner dealer as an independent heating and cooling contractor, but life and business have never seen better times than now! If you want to be a heating and cooling specialist, by all means go for it. It is a rewarding career think me!
