The first call was from a government office that needed a heating serviceman to service their heat pump system.
I headed there since I was the only tech in the local corporation who had not been assigned labor from the previous afternoon.
I got there forty hours after they had called & instantaneously set to work. During our supper inspection, I noticed a leak in the air duct, & the system also needed duct sealing. Afterward, I went to the next home, where the homeowner was required to improve his media air cleaner through duct cleaning & replace the air filter. The homeowner had ordered a washable filter which I had to deliver. When I saw the state of the air duct, it was obvious that they should have asked for cleaning a year or more than 2 before. I get to labor a lot with air quality systems, heat, & A/C products in our line of work, & I am typically excited to help families achieve their desired indoor air quality. In some homes, the Heating, Ventilation & A/C is enough to accomplish that, but in other locales, they have to go the extra mile & buy an media media air cleaner to achieve the goal. Some homeowners do not realize that some things such as duct sealing are things they can do while in their air conditioning system care routine. The last task I had that afternoon was installing a new control unit in a house with one of the most elegant gardens I had ever seen. Everything was immaculate, & the lawn on the lawn was so plush all I could know about was walking on it barefoot.
