Becky is not a cheapskate, but if a similar product has a discount, then that is the one she will buy.
She has no loyalty whatsoever to brands, especially on groceries. I typically argued that the margin between what I spend while shopping & what Becky would spend on similar products would not be that big; Compared to our total price, she made significant savings. However, Becky consulted myself and others when looking for a new media media air cleaner. She said that her Heating, Ventilation & A/C media air cleaner was not enough to help her achieve her desired indoor air quality. Every one of us researched on more than 2 websites of heat & A/C products for air quality systems until all of us found a wonderful one within her budget. She had also been using a regular air filter for her heat pump, however she wanted to try a washable filter to see if it would save her currency. On the other hand, I needed to visit the local corporation so that I could get a professional view as to why our energy bill was going up regularly. I knew it had to do with our Heating, Ventilation & A/C unit, although I had no system how to solve that, so I sought professional help. The Heating, Ventilation & A/C corporation came & evaluated our entire replacement system. She told myself and others that it needed service & that the main reason I was using so much energy to heat the home was that there were more than 2 leaks in the air ducts. Therefore, the unit had to run more to compensate for the lost heat. On top of duct sealing, the air duct was also needing duct cleaning. It was times care about this that I wished the intelligent control unit could detect any complications with the system because I could have easily fixed the leaks before they cost myself and others so much in terms of energy used.
