I am sick of dealing with HVAC duct.
First the HVAC duct gets dirty a lot.
The Heating, Ventilation, & A/C system is sucking up some pretty gross things. Your HVAC duct gets hair, dust & pet dander up in there. Sometimes, due to outdoor ventilation, sticks, dead animals & dirt gets in the HVAC duct as well. You need to be on with cleaning your HVAC duct or you have polluted indoor air conditions. You can’t just hire any guy with cleaning unit though. Another con of HVAC duct, it is fragile. It is easy to injure HVAC duct when you clean it. There are seams & turns in the ducts. Along those seams it is absolutely fragile & easy to break open. If there is a cooked seam or a hole in the ducts, you are letting your treated hair be leaked outdoors. The utility bills skyrocket & the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C system can’t ever turn off. If you keep it up, the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C system will require more repairs & prematurely break down. The hole can be microscopic too & cause all of this. You need to find a company that uses a vacuum rather than a wipe brush to clean. They then take a video camera to check the inside of the HVAC duct to ensure everything is all clean in there. It is a pain owning HVAC duct & worrying about it. I am looking into duct free Heating, Ventilation, & A/C options. I have found I can do a ductless heat pump, mini split, heated flooring or just do a gas fireplace. They don’t require any HVAC duct. It might be a better fit for me.
