There are some people who prefer living with a lot of people around them, and there are others who prefer to live alone.
I am that person who prefers peace and quiet, so living alone works well for me.
I do have a dog Marley, but he has adjusted to my lifestyle. We interact with others when we are in the mood. This way of living has worked perfectly fine for us. However, living alone can have its ups and downs, and sometimes those downs can be quite irritating. For example, I am not handy at all, so if something breaks I can’t fix it myself. I mean don’t get me wrong, I can Google an issue with my computer and get that resolved, but if it’s an issue with a leaky pipe, I need to reach out for help. I have no plumbing or handyman skills, and I am at that stage where it’s just easier to call for the help that I need. So, a few weeks ago when the pipe in my kitchen had a slow leak, I had to find a plumber as soon as possible. Thankfully, Google is a great resource in times like this. I was able to search for the best plumbing service in my area. Turns out there is a company within two miles of my home that had really good customer reviews. When I called I was able to speak directly to the plumber, and I was able to get an appointment the next day. The next day, the plumber fixed the leak, and I kept his card just in case I had another plumbing issue.
