I had wanted to move beach house for decades.
But the timing just wasn’t ever quite right.
Once the people I was with and I had kids & they were sort of entrenched where the people I was with and I were, I didn’t feel right about jerking them out of their comfort zone. But being a southern girl residing up north for all those years wasn’t easy. I don’t care how much I tried, I just couldn’t get accustomed to the Winter time & all that Heating & Air Conditioning heating. Until I moved up here, the worst that Winter time had to offer where I came from was having to move the control device to heating. The heat pump hardly even ran while in the Winter time when I lived down south. But I took my first task offer out of university thinking I’d just live up north for a few years & then work my way back to the land of the heat pump. Of course, it didn’t work out love that. I met my fiance, fell in love & the people I was with and I raised a wonderful family. I don’t regret that a single bit. But now that I’m back in the south, I’m never leaving again. Both of us had to wait until retirement for myself and others to get back home. But the people I was with and I lucked out & were able to retire in our mid 50’s so the people I was with and I are getting a headstart on the next chapter of our lives. The beach house the people I was with and I purchased came with a sunroom. And I just fell in love with the plan of having a sunroom. What was even better was the fact that the sunroom came complete with a ductless heat pump. This way I’d have all the Heating & Air Conditioning cooling I would need to prefer the sunroom while in the hot, warm summer.
