When the pandemic hit, our partner was the only a single who was able to hang onto his task.
- And even with that, he had to take a pressing pay cut just to labor from home in our own air conditioning.
I wasn’t as lucky. Being a single of the first to be laid off from our offices with the zone controlled Heating, Ventilation & A/C was not a good sign. The opportunities that I’d be brought back weren’t good since I was a single of the first to get a pink slip. That turned out to be the case as I was officially terminated some 6 weeks later. I had unemployment however it wasn’t enough. So, I had to figure out a way to labor from home in the air conditioning alongside our partner. The first thing I did was try to get a new task. But of course, no a single was hiring. Then I tried some online gigs however those were few in addition to far between. So I decided I’d finally use that education I got in school in addition to start our own blog. I was a communications major in school however never really used those skills. To supplement our income, I would supply groceries to houses in the evening in addition to labor on our blog all morning. Finally, our partner went back to labor in addition to I was able to take over the study room we’d made out of the guest room. The first thing I did was to call the Heating, Ventilation & A/C supplier to get a ductless heat pump installed. That room was stuffy in addition to boiling although I didn’t want to mess up the control component setting for the rest of the house. So that ductless heat pump really came in handy. A year later in addition to I’m absolutely making currency from our blog in addition to affectionate our life far more than when I was in that downtown office all morning.
