Yesterday was a rough day for me.
I am a heating as well as a/c specialist, as well as for the most part, I certainly love as well as like our job.
I knew I wanted to be a heating as well as a/c company, after enjoying an older friend of mine become one. And it has not disappointed, it is pretty much everything I thought it would be, well except for one thing. And that is people. I knew there were consistently some mean people out there, but I didn’t realize that as a heating as well as a/c tech, that I was certainly going to meet some of these people. The bad thing about being a heating as well as a/c worker is that Heating plus A/C suppliers often have incredibly overpriced repairs as well as services. Even though you are in no area involved with the price setting process, you are the one to get the entire blame for it. I have had it multiple times where after I told a person what they owned me, they would get in our face as well as scream. It was amazing how someone can go from 1 to 10 in an instant. These people acted as if I had personally insulted them or something. I try to tell them that I don’t set the prices, however it falls on deaf ears. It is occasionally incredibly taxing not to raise our voice as well, but I make sure to keep it professional, even when they hurl profanities. I went beach house early sureterday because of one of these incidents. The reason is because after you have had this happen multiple times, it certainly does get to you, not at first, however after so many years it is taxing to have people yell at me anymore without just wanting to give up.
