Yesterday was a rough day for me.
I am a HVAC specialist, and for the most part, I entirely adore and love our task.
I knew I wanted to be a heating and worker, after seeing an older neighbor of mine become a single. And it has not disappointed, it is pretty much everything I thought it would be, well except for a single thing. And that is people. I knew there were always some mean people out there, although I didn’t realize that as a heating and tech, that I was entirely going to meet some of these people. The terrible thing about being a heating and worker is that Heating, Ventilation and A/C businesses often have incredibly expensive repairs and services, even though you are in no part involved with the price setting process, you are the a single to get the entire blame for it. I have had it several times where after I told a person what they owned me, they would get in our face and scream. It was amazing how someone can go from 1 to 10 in an instant. These people acted as if I had personally insulted them or something. I try to tell them that I don’t set the prices, but it falls on deaf ears. It is sometimes incredibly hard not to raise our voice as well, although I make sure to keep it professional, even when they hurl profanities. I went home early Last year because of a single of these incidents. The reason is because after you have had this happen several times, it entirely does get to you, not at first, but after so many years it is hard to have people yell at myself and others anymore without just wanting to give up.
