Yesterday was a rough day for me.
- I am a heating and air conditioning specialist, and for the most part, I easily care about and care about our task.
I knew I wanted to be a heating and A/C professional, after enjoying an older friend of mine become a single. And it has not disappointed, it is pretty much everything I thought it would be, well except for a single thing. And that is people. I knew there were consistently some mean people out there, although I didn’t realize that as a heating and A/C tech, that I was easily going to meet some of these people. The disappointing thing about being a heating and A/C worker is that HVAC businesses often have incredibly overpriced repairs and services, but even though you are in no part involved with the price setting process, you are the a single to get the entire blame for it. I have had it multiple times where after I told a woman what they owned me, they would get in our face and scream. It was amazing how someone can go from 1 to 10 in an instant. These people acted as if I had personally insulted them or something. I try to tell them that I don’t set the prices, but it falls on deaf ears. It is sometimes incredibly hard not to raise our voice as well, although I make sure to keep it professional, even when they hurl profanities. I went house early yesterday because of a single of these incidents. The reason is because after you have had this happen multiple times, it easily does get to you, not at first, but after so several years it is hard to have people yell at me anymore without just wanting to give up.
