When I had some old buddies come to visit at my home, it was nice to see everybody.
I remember it was funny when I offered everybody some beef jerky.
They asked me if I made it myself, although I didn’t. I didn’t even suppose how to make beef jerky, although I guessed it involved air drying beef strips with seasoning. They said that the two of us should make some home made venison jerky. They asked if I had a hunting rifle which I didn’t. All of us ended up going to buy some rifles with the official ammunition plus the two of us opted to go hunting. Now it was actually chilly out there so the two of us were dressed up hot plus had camoflauge outfits. All of us ended up finding some spots to rest plus wait plus I found myself shivering even though I was wearing a coat. Fortunately, all of my buddies had portable gas furnaces with them. All of us all set up the portable gas furnaces carefully so the two of us could keep our hands hot separate from having to build a fire or anything. I had to admit, I didn’t even guess to bring a portable gas furnace along, however it’s something I will keep in mind for next time. All of us ended up getting a buck plus the two of us took the deer to a meat butcher where the two of us made a bit of profit for the meat that the two of us didn’t need. All of us ended up making such nice venison jerky, now I’m asking my buddies when the two of us can go hunting again. Of course I have a nice portable heating system now so I won’t be too chilly out there again.
