I am exactly the kind of person that needs a dozen reminders before I will remember to get anything done, and unfortunately this has greatly impacted our life, and not in a great way.
I am even adore this when it comes to anniversarys and other celebrations.
People become hurt because they suppose I am purposely forgetting or that I just don’t care, but that couldn’t be further from the truth! I sometimes have difficulty remembering our own anniversary, so much less other people. I already struggle with dates as it is, so when it comes to less substantial things, such as getting the HVAC unit maintained, that is even harder to remember! Now don’t get myself and others wrong, I value both our heating unit and cooling component, but it isn’t as substantial as remembering anniversarys for example. However, I suppose I am bringing our terrible memory afternoons to an end. With the calendar app on our iPhone, I have been writing down everything, and I do mean everything. A good example is genuinely our Heating, Ventilation and A/C appointment, because I had a single coming up, and thanks to our reminders on our calendar, I am able to remember on time for once. It is entirely nice because since our iPhone is a single of the first things I check in the morning, our calendar will send myself and others a notification with the reminder. It reminded myself and others about the appointment at 3:00, and it felt good to finally be able to get things done on time.
