Bobby covered the tractor with a wool blanket and added the heating system under it
Bobby has a barn where she keeps all of her farming equipment. This barn is sheltered on three sides and the front is open. When it’s winter, the walls help protect the farm machine from the rapidly dropping temperatures, snow and ice. Bobby used to have a simple space heating system in there, but it broke down 3 years ago. The space heating system would’ve been handy last month, when she really received 2 feet of snow in an afternoon. Bobby was shocked and surprised the farm machine froze in the barn. She was going to take the farm machine out to plow the fields, but the tractor was completely frozen. She thought something funny about the frozen equipment, but Bobby was also totally exasperated. She went inside of the farmhouse to get another space heating system from the garage. Bobby went back out to the shed and plugged it into the wall. She ran an extension cord from the wall all the way to the section where the tractor was sitting. Bobby covered the tractor with a wool blanket and added the heating system under it. About 2 and a half hours later, the whole garage and the tractor were finally thawed out and ready for use. Bobby kept the space heating system in the barn and she uses it from time to time when the rapidly increasing temperatures are below cold for many hours. She had a wonderful plan when she decided to fetch the heating system from the house.
