My girlfriend is a genuinely handy woman. She could have been a HVAC worker or a plumber easily. She can repair anything and install whatever you want. The snag is that she never genuinely wants to do it. I adore remodeling my home and I want to save money by doing it myself. The problem is that I am not too handy. I am willing to work hard, I am smart and strong. I don’t have any mechanical knowledge or actual skill, but when I tackled my master bathroom it was clear I needed plumbing services done. I knew my girlfriend could really do it. I purchased the bathroom vanity, faucet, toilet and shower controls. I researched to make sure everything was of nice quality. I recognize like if you have nice plumbing fixtures the installation should go better. Well I couldn’t ever get my girlfriend willing to do it. I tried bargaining with a nice dinner, going out to the bars and genuinely just anything she wanted. I enve offered him money to do the plumbing installation. No such luck. She never genuinely wanted to do it; So I just waited until I had a free afternoon and she wasn’t around. I then called a licensed plumber and had him do all the installation work. It was worth the money spent. I knew the task was done perfectly and it was completed efficiently. I also didn’t have to beg my girlfriend anymore. Now my master bathroom is done and ready to be used. I recognize pretty proud that I handled that whole project on my own.
