It would have been nice to know the Heating and Air Conditioning supplier would be coming to the beach house yet today
Last month was the hottest month on record, and every one of us could tell. The a/c machine was working well for the previous numerous weeks, and I took it as a bad omen. I could think it in our heart that in the middle of the heatwave, the a/c machine was going to stop working. We were only numerous days into the heat wave when our premonition came true. I woke up in the middle of the night because the air was hot and humid, and it was difficult to breathe. I was hesitant to call the Heating and Air Conditioning supplier because I knew they would charge me after hours charges, which would nearly double the daytime cost. I decided to wait until day, but that seemed to take forever to arrive. Without a/c to help me get a good night’s sleep; I was exhausted and angry by the time day arrived. I called the Heating and Air Conditioning corporation, only to be told they could not get to me for another day or more than one. The heat wave had caused quite a few A/C units to chop down, and I was at the bottom of the list. I cursed myself for not calling the Heating and Air Conditioning supplier when I first woke up. It would have been nice to know the Heating and Air Conditioning supplier would be coming to the beach house yet today. The Heating and Air Conditioning supplier called later that day, and they told me they had an opening for the next day… Not having a/c didn’t seem so bad when you knew when the Heating and Air Conditioning company was going to arrive. I had a designated time, and all I had to do is wait.
