I write a blog about things that people should know before they move down South.
More and more people are moving here every year, but living here is quite different than living somewhere up North.
I cover a multitude of topics to help people manage their decision to move to more sunshine. One topic that always gets people’s attention is to discuss the in’s and out’s of the weather, and that includes discussing air conditioning systems. Whether people want to learn more about home or commercial air conditioning, if they come from the North they probably don’t know too much about installing a new system. One tip that I always offer is for people to get their air conditioning systems serviced before the summertime hits. I can’t tell you how many air conditioning vans and trucks you will see throughout every neighborhood during the summer. When temperatures skyrocket, we tend to overwork our air conditioners. If the AC system you have doesn’t have the means to keep up with this pace, it will likely break down and need to be serviced by a technician. In my blog, I recommend to people that they should set up an appointment to get it all checked out and serviced before temperatures get too high. Most air conditioning technicians would rather come early than have to come and fix something when it’s so hot outside. It’s better to be safe than sorry. I would rather prepare myself for the turn in weather than have to suffer in the heat and wait for someone to fix it.
