It’s important to inspect the furnace at the end of the season

Last winter was one of the most interesting for my family and me.

We were all meeting for the holidays and couldn’t wait to be together.

Since the pandemic, we’ve never had a big family gathering during the holidays. Unfortunately, our granny was no longer with us, so we had to make different plans. The vote was in, and everyone agreed my house would be the ideal place. They all came, we had a wonderful time, and life moved on in January. Towards the end of March, I analyzed my heating bill and noticed something was amiss. It seems my heating bill has been getting higher and higher all winter. I wasn’t sure how I missed this, but I was glad to notice the change. Instead of waiting until the fall, I opted to have the furnace system inspected at the end of the season. The HVAC business in the area understood my concern and said it was important to conduct a thorough inspection. That way, I’d have peace of mind knowing there would be no issues or problems with the furnace system in the fall. I also required an AC inspection and planned for both on the same day. The HVAC crew, consisting of 2 guys, came by my house to do the inspection and potential repairs. One worked on the heating system while the other did a full AC tune-up. Having both of them working on the units was fulfilling since I didn’t have to wait to get the AC tuneup before summer.
