Back when we were in undergraduate school, my best friend and I used to talk about moving to a big city when we got older. I wanted to attend graduate school and head out west while my friend had set his sights on the Windy City. But after working up in Illinois for a few years, he was sick of the constant cold weather. I don’t blame him, because I lived up in the northern midwest years ago when I was a young child. The weather was unbearably cold for at least six months out of the year. My friend didn’t care if he was making money or not because it was simply too much for him with the sheer claustrophobia being in a metro city combined with the frigid autumns, winters, and springs. After he paid his dues and worked in their Chicago office for a number of years, he moved across the country to be in a warmer climate. He specifically chose a retirement city so he could set up shop as an estate and family law attorney and rake in easy cash from the senior citizens in the area. While he does have to go to court every now and then, a lot of his daily work is much more mild than that. He fills out a lot of paperwork and writes a large number of briefs, while spending a good portion of his time in consultations with clients, both new and longstanding. I’m really proud of my lawyer friend and his highly-rated legal services. If I ever moved to his area, I would definitely utilize him and his services.
